Our team of expert bakers lovingly prepare everything from scratch, using the best ingredients and traditional, authentic recipe.

We are proud to feature our famous cannoli, Italian pastries, cakes, breads, pies, fruit tarts, muffins, cheesecakes, butter cookies, and traditional Italian desserts – all hand made from scratch. You can even watch our bakers make donuts right in the store, or pick up a loaf of Italian bread that was delivered right from Arthur Avenue that morning.

Or maybe you’re looking for something different, something custom. Our master bakers are always available to speak with you about creating a custom cake for any occasion, including birthday parties, weddings, engagement parties, communions or confirmations, or more!

Candy

Our Candy Department is the sweetest spot in all of Uncle Giuseppe’s! Here you’ll find everything you can dream of to satisfy your sweet tooth. Enjoy freshly dipped caramel apples, creamy gelato*, chocolate-covered strawberries filled with cheesecake, gourmet candies and truffles, marzipan, popcorn towers, and chocolate-covered pretzels and fruits.

The highlight of this department is our flowing dark, milk, and white chocolate fountains where we dip marshmallows, Rice Krispies Treats®, Oreo® cookies, pretzels, graham crackers, and even Twinkies® and Devil Dogs® – just don’t ask us to dip our lasagna!

Speaking of dipping, we also dip our freshly popped Magic Pop – a crisp, versatile, low calorie snack that we pop right in front of you (Sweet tip – during your next visit, ask for a free sample!).

Uncle Giuseppe’s Cheese Department offer hundreds of international and domestic cheeses. Our experts scour the world to bring back only the most exceptional imported cheeses. Their knowledge, superior selection, and true love of cheese will guide you to the best Auricchio Provolone or the most delicious Dutch Prima Donna.

Then there’s our fresh mozzarella. Uncle Giuseppe’s fresh mozzarella is one of the most popular items in all of our Marketplaces because of its unrivaled milkiness and fluffiness. When the first Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace opened in East Meadow in 1998, we learned that the best fresh mozzarella in Italy comes from Salerno. After a trip to Italy, we learned how to replicate the flavor and texture with a machine that produces a consistently delicious fresh mozzarella, using the finest whole milk curd. One taste of our fresh, silky soft mozzarella and you’ll be hooked.
